Monday Night RAW: Results and Photos for May 14th, 2018

Backstage: We get comments from Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Drew says the locker room has gone soft. They have a banquet full of pigs stuffing their faces at the trough. Ziggler talks about the choreographed entrances. Drew says that the hunger is gone in their eyes and they are here to remind them of that. Drew says that they are here to flip the table over.

Finn Balor and Braun Strowman versus Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre
Strowman and Drew stare at each other as the bell rings and Drew smiles at Braun. Balor and Ziggler start things off. They lock up and Balor with a waist lock. Ziggler with a standing switch and Ziggler with a punch. Ziggler punches Balor. Ziggler with a sunset flip and Balor rolls through and hits a drop kick. Drew tags in and so does Braun. Drew tags Ziggler back in before making contact with Braun. Strowman slams Balor onto Ziggler. Strowman and Balor do the Braun pose but that allows Ziggler to recover and hit a jawbreaker. Balor with a drop kick and Drew trips Balor when he sets for a plancha. Drew tags in and he kicks Balor. Drew with a chop and punch to Balor. Drew stomps on Finn’s hand and then he chops Balor in the corner. Dolph tags in and he kicks Balor. Balor with a forearm but Ziggler keeps Balor from making the tag and hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Ziggler with a sleeper and body scissors. Ziggler keeps Balor from making the tag and Drew tags in.

Drew sends Balor into the corner and Balor fights out of the corner but he cannot make the tag when Drew catches him and connects with a knee and forearm. Drew with a chop. Drew misses a charge into the corner when Balor moves and Strowman tags in. Ziggler tags in and he connects with shoulder tackles on Dolph. Strowman with a forearm across the chest. Ziggler moves and Strowman hits the ring post with his shoulder. Balor tags in and he gives Ziggler a double leg take down and double stomp. Balor with a chop and he floats over. Ziggler with an elbow and Balor with an enzuigiri and an elevated elbow drop for a near fall.

Ziggler with a rollup and Balor with Slingblade. Balor with a running drop kick and then he goes up top but Drew grabs the leg and Balor goes to the apron. Strowman with a running shoulder tackle to Drew on the floor and Drew knocks over the Greatest Royal Rumble trophy. Ziggler pulls Balor off the turnbuckles and gets the three count.

Rhyno and Heath Slater versus Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler
Rhyno and Ziggler start things off and Ziggler with a waist lock and slap. Ziggler with another waist lock but Rhyno with a chop. Slater tags in and he goes up top and hits a chop to the arm followed by a running forearm. Slater with atomic drops but Ziggler lands on his feet and tags in Drew. Slater welcomes Drew back and Slater with jabs and punches. Drew with an Irish whip and Slater tries to float over but Drew with a kick to the midsection.

Drew pulls off Slater’s shirt and chops him. Ziggler tags in and he super kicks Slater and Drew with a reverse Alabama Slam. Drew head butts Rhyno off the apron. Drew with a Claymore while Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and they get the three count.

Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil with Dana Brooke versus Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler
Titus and Dolph start things off and Titus throws Ziggler into the corner and he punches Dolph. Dolph with kicks and he tags in Crews. Crews with a clothesline followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Drew with a kick to the head and he tags in. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Ziggler tags in and Ziggler with a super kick to the head and Drew hits a reverse Alabama Slam. Drew tags in and Ziggler with a Zig Zag while Drew hits the Claymore for the three count.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

After the match: Dolph and Drew are in the ring and he is asked why did he bring Drew McIntyre with him. Dolph says he never had anyone watch his back and now he has Drew watching his back. He says that Drew is dangerous. Drew says he is right. He is dangerous. He is especially dangerous to a locker room that has apparently gone soft. He sees no fire or ambition. All he sees are people collecting checks. This is what a superstar looks like and this is how a superstar speaks. Drew says you can trust him when he says the times are a-changing. He is the wake up call and reality check that WWE needs. Dolph says they don’t care about stealing the show because this is the show.

In Ring: Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. Dolph says he is back on Raw. A lot of things changed and a lot of things stayed the same. He will always steal the show and he is the best superstar to walk that aisle.

Dolph is interrupted by Titus O’Neil’s music and he is joined by Apollo Crews and Dana Brooke. Titus welcomes Dolph to Raw and he says a lot of things have changed. That includes the creation of Titus Worldwide. If you are looking to maximize your return, look no further than their team. He can take Dolph to the next level in and out of the ring. Titus says that Dolph is a multi-platform superstar. They can rule the planet.

Dolph says what he was going to say is that he did not come back to Raw alone. Drew McIntyre shows up and he attacks Titus and Apollo. Drew and Dolph send Titus into the ring post. Dolph with a super kick to Titus and then Drew punches Apollo. Drew hits a Claymore while Dolph hits a Zig Zag.

Rusev and Sheamus versus Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler
Sheamus and Ryder start things off and they lock up. Sheamus with a side head lock take down. Sheamus with punches to Ryder followed by a European uppercut. Sheamus goes for a slam but Ryder escapes and connects with forearms. Ryder sets for the Broski Boot but Rusev interferes. Rusev sends Ryder into the ringside barrier. Sheamus with a Finlay Slam on the floor. Sheamus rolls Ryder back into the ring and he kicks Ryder in the ribs. Sheamus wtih a suplex throw to Ryder. Sheamus with a reverse chin lock on Ryder. Ryder with punches but Sheamus with a knee. Sheamus goes for a suplex but Ryder lands on his feet and hits a neck breaker.

Rusev tells Sheamus to tag him in and Sheamus does it but Ziggler tags in and Ziggler with a flying clothesline and splash into the corner. Ziggler misses the neck breaker but Ziggler hits a Fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler with a rollup but Rusev with a hot shot and jumping thrust kick to the back. Rusev with the Accolade and Ziggler taps out.

Number One Contender Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Title
The bell rings and people pair off. Doph Ziggler is on the apron and Viktor punches Bo. Konnor with a punch to Truth. Swagger punches Corbin while Gotch works over Ziggler. Gotch and English go after Goldust and English is eliminated. We see Bob Backlund watching from ringside so Darren Young is involved. Darren is being lifted by Bubba Ray Dudley for a suplex but he stays in the ring. Konnor is eliminated. Gotch is sent to the apron by Axel and Bubba. Truth punches Del Rio while D-Von punches Gotch. Axel is sent to the apron by Bubba and D-Von knocks him off the apron to eliminate him. Ziggler chokes Del Rio while Truth punches Corbin. D-Von is put on the turnbuckles and Truth is eliminated by Corbin. Viktor punches Corbin and Viktor is sent to the apron and he is punched off the apron to the floor and he is eliminated. Jimmy teases eliminating Jey and that allows them to take care of D-Von.

We go to commercial. We are back and things look a little clearer in the ring due to commercial eliminations. We see Simon Gotch eliminated by Dolph Ziggler and Jey Uso by Bubba Ray Dudley. Ziggler is sent to the apron by Corbin. Goldust punches Del Rio. Goldust is sent to the apron by Del Rio. Del Rio with an enzuigiri to eliminate Goldust. Bo with a side head lock to Crews but Crews eliminates Bo. Crews tries to stop Corbin from helping Bubba eliminate Del Rio. Jimmy is eliminated by Corbin. Swagger is eliminated by Corbin as well. We are down to Baron Corbin, Darren Young, Dolph Ziggler, Bubba Ray Dudley, Apollo Crews, and Alberto Del Rio. Bubba punches Young on the turnbuckles and Young hangs on to teh ropes. Crews with a cross body to Del Rio. Corbin with a boot to Bubba and Young with a forearm to Bubba and he eliminates Bubba. Corbin with Deep Six to Young. Del Rio wtih an enzuigiri to Corbin. Del Rio misses the enzuigiri on Ziggler and Ziggler with a Fameasser. Ziggler sends Del Rio to the apron. Del Rio with a divorce court and a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster. Del Rio goes through the ropes to the apron and Ziggler with a super kick to send Del Rio to the floor, so he is not eliminated. Ziggler is dropped on the turnbuckles.

Corbin punches Del Rio while Del Rio hits a double stomp on Crews. Crews eliminates Del Rio. Ziggler with a super kick and then Ziggler clotheslines Corbin and both men go to the apron. Backlund watches intently from the floor. Ziggler punches Corbin and head butts him. Ziggler is grabbed by Corbin and thrown over the top rope to eliminate him. Crews goes after Corbin but Corbin with an elbow. Crews and Corbin are both eliminated at the same time.

Winner: Darren Young
