Rusev and Sheamus versus Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler
Sheamus and Ryder start things off and they lock up. Sheamus with a side head lock take down. Sheamus with punches to Ryder followed by a European uppercut. Sheamus goes for a slam but Ryder escapes and connects with forearms. Ryder sets for the Broski Boot but Rusev interferes. Rusev sends Ryder into the ringside barrier. Sheamus with a Finlay Slam on the floor. Sheamus rolls Ryder back into the ring and he kicks Ryder in the ribs. Sheamus wtih a suplex throw to Ryder. Sheamus with a reverse chin lock on Ryder. Ryder with punches but Sheamus with a knee. Sheamus goes for a suplex but Ryder lands on his feet and hits a neck breaker.

Rusev tells Sheamus to tag him in and Sheamus does it but Ziggler tags in and Ziggler with a flying clothesline and splash into the corner. Ziggler misses the neck breaker but Ziggler hits a Fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler with a rollup but Rusev with a hot shot and jumping thrust kick to the back. Rusev with the Accolade and Ziggler taps out.

Winners: Rusev and Sheamus

Number One Contender Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Title
The bell rings and people pair off. Doph Ziggler is on the apron and Viktor punches Bo. Konnor with a punch to Truth. Swagger punches Corbin while Gotch works over Ziggler. Gotch and English go after Goldust and English is eliminated. We see Bob Backlund watching from ringside so Darren Young is involved. Darren is being lifted by Bubba Ray Dudley for a suplex but he stays in the ring. Konnor is eliminated. Gotch is sent to the apron by Axel and Bubba. Truth punches Del Rio while D-Von punches Gotch. Axel is sent to the apron by Bubba and D-Von knocks him off the apron to eliminate him. Ziggler chokes Del Rio while Truth punches Corbin. D-Von is put on the turnbuckles and Truth is eliminated by Corbin. Viktor punches Corbin and Viktor is sent to the apron and he is punched off the apron to the floor and he is eliminated. Jimmy teases eliminating Jey and that allows them to take care of D-Von.

We go to commercial. We are back and things look a little clearer in the ring due to commercial eliminations. We see Simon Gotch eliminated by Dolph Ziggler and Jey Uso by Bubba Ray Dudley. Ziggler is sent to the apron by Corbin. Goldust punches Del Rio. Goldust is sent to the apron by Del Rio. Del Rio with an enzuigiri to eliminate Goldust. Bo with a side head lock to Crews but Crews eliminates Bo. Crews tries to stop Corbin from helping Bubba eliminate Del Rio. Jimmy is eliminated by Corbin. Swagger is eliminated by Corbin as well. We are down to Baron Corbin, Darren Young, Dolph Ziggler, Bubba Ray Dudley, Apollo Crews, and Alberto Del Rio. Bubba punches Young on the turnbuckles and Young hangs on to teh ropes. Crews with a cross body to Del Rio. Corbin with a boot to Bubba and Young with a forearm to Bubba and he eliminates Bubba. Corbin with Deep Six to Young. Del Rio wtih an enzuigiri to Corbin. Del Rio misses the enzuigiri on Ziggler and Ziggler with a Fameasser. Ziggler sends Del Rio to the apron. Del Rio with a divorce court and a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster. Del Rio goes through the ropes to the apron and Ziggler with a super kick to send Del Rio to the floor, so he is not eliminated. Ziggler is dropped on the turnbuckles.

Corbin punches Del Rio while Del Rio hits a double stomp on Crews. Crews eliminates Del Rio. Ziggler with a super kick and then Ziggler clotheslines Corbin and both men go to the apron. Backlund watches intently from the floor. Ziggler punches Corbin and head butts him. Ziggler is grabbed by Corbin and thrown over the top rope to eliminate him. Crews goes after Corbin but Corbin with an elbow. Crews and Corbin are both eliminated at the same time.

Winner: Darren Young

Seth Rollins versus Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler goes for the leg and Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins with a back elbow to the head. Ziggler with a waist lock into a side head lock and rollup for a near fall. Rollins goes to the floor. Rollins gets back into the ring and they go to a test of strength. Rollins with a waist lock but Ziggler with a head lock> Ziggler gets a series of near falls and Rollins goes to the floor again. Rollins has comments for Ambrose before he goes back to the ring. Rollins with a kick and double sledge to the back followed by kicks and punches. Rollins wants to make sure that Ambrose is watching as he slams Ziggler. Ziggler with a drop kick and he sets for a super kick but Rollins goes to the floor when he sees it coming. Ziggler chases Rollins on the floor and drops him on the top rope. Rollins with an enzuigiri to knock Ziggler off the apron and to the floor.

We are back and Rollins taunts Ziggler but Ziggler punches back. Rollins stops Ziggler and goes up top. Ziggler leaps up and he hits a super face buster for a near fall. Rollins kicks Ziggler and tries for the buckle bomb but Ziggler lands on his feet. Ziggler with clotheslines and the Stinger Splash followed by the neck breaker and leaping elbow drop. Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler sets up for the super kick but Rollins blocks it and Ziggler lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Rollins with a back heel kick and he gets a near fall. Rollins with a super kick for a near fall. Rollins waits for Ziggler to get up for the springboard knee but Ziggler moves. Rollins blocks a hesitation DDT but Ziggler gets a rollup for a near fall. Ziggler with a super kick for a near fall. Rollins misses a round kick and Ziggler hits the hesitation DDT but Rollins holds the ropes on the Zig Zag attempt. Rollins with a Pedigree for the three count.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Backstage: Vickie Guerrero is being taken out of the arena and Dolph Ziggler stops. Dolph says he has never seen that woman before and they are taken away.

Backstage: JoJo is in the interview area with Dolph Ziggler and we look at what happened at Extreme Rules. JoJo asks Dolph about his challenge to Baron Corbin. Dolph says the Lone Wolf had to hit him below the belt to win. Dolph says he gets to show everyone what he has learned since age 5. Dean Malenko was the man of 1000 Holds and you can watch Chris Jericho list off his 1,004 holds. Baron Corbin does not know about Dolph’s 1,005 holds. Dolph says he wants the world to see what he can do. He says he will steal the show.

Dolph puts on the headgear for the ‘technical wrestling’ component of the match. Ziggler wtih a kick to the balls and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Baron Corbin (by disqualification)

After the Match: Dolph gets on the mic and he says Dolph Ziggler has been disqualified and the loser is still Baron Corbin.

Backstage: JoJo is with Baron Corbin and she asks him about his victory over Dolph Ziggler and the low blow that led to the victory. JoJo asks about the way he won. Baron says that people have issues with the way he won a No Disqualification Match. He did that to Dolph Ziggler because he can.

Dolph Ziggler shows up and says ‘Because I Can’ is clever. Dolph says that Baron cannot be on Breaking Ground without looking like a tool. He can’t beat him in a technical wrestling match.
Baron says he did not grow up wanting to be in WWE and be the best wrestler. If you want another match, we can have it and we can talk about technical wrestling . . . when you wake up. Dolph says we have a match for next week and you can watch his match against Dean Ambrose to see what a wrestling match is all about.

Dean Ambrose versus Dolph Ziggler in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
They lock up and Ambrose with a waist lock take down. Ambrose with a snap mare for a near fall. Ziggler gets a take down and rollup for a near fall. Ambrose with a wrist lock into an arm bar. Ziggler with a gutwrench rollup for a near fall. Ambrose with a hammer lock and Ambrose with a side head lock take down. Dean with a shoudler tackle. Ziggler with a drop kick for a near fall. Ziggler with a side head lock take down. Ambrose with a back elbow and slam for a near fall. Ambrose with chops. Ambrose with a chop in the corner. Ziggler with a sunset flip for a near fall. Ambrose gets a near fall. Ziggler with another near fall. ZIggler is sent through the ropes and Ambrose tease a suicide dive but he sees where ZIggler is so he stops short.

Ambrose sets for a superplex but Ambrose is knocked off the turnbuckles. Ambrose wtih a forearm followed by a superplex and he gets a near fall. Ambrose with a forearm into the corner but Ziggler avoids the bulldog and hits a Stinger Splash. Ambrose avoids the neck breaker and then Ambrose sends Ziggler over the top rope to the floor and Ambrose with a suicide dive. Ziggler sets for the X Factor off the turnbuckles but Dean pushes him off and Ambrose with the elbow drop but Ziggler rolls through for a near fall. Ziggler with a Fameasser for a near fall. Ambrose blocks a super kick and then both men go for a cross body and both men are down.

Dean and Dolph alternate punches. Ziggler with a super kick and Ambrose bounces off the ropes for a wackyline and a near fall. Ambrose goes to the turnbuckles but Ziggler meets him with a drop kick for a near fall. Ziggler with a splash into the turnbuckles and he punches Dean but Dean holds on and tries for a power bomb but Ziggler counters with a sunset flip and a near fall. Ziggler tries for the Zig Zag but since Ambrose is on the ropes, he holds on. Ambrose with a double underhook DDT for the three count.

Winner: Dean Ambrose
